Amcomri Group, the specialist engineering and quality British manufacturing business, has confirmed the acquisition of Oldham-based rail electronics specialist, TP Matrix.

TP Matrix was founded by Chris Morris in 1988 primarily to repair printed circuit board from early electronics equipment such as fax machines and business computers. Having expanded into sub-contract manufacturing of printed circuit boards and other wiring services, the business today provides high quality electrical and electronics products and services to the Rail, Oil & Gas, Industrial Control and Healthcare sectors.

Holding accreditations such as the difficult-to-achieve IRIS certification for the railway industry, TP Matrix has now over 30 years of experience in the provision of test, repair and overhaul services for a wide range of equipment for passenger and freight rolling stock including mainline trains, city trams and London underground fleets.

With a focus on safety critical, high value, high specification work, TP Matrix counts many of the world’s blue chip companies amongst its client base. High quality service and a fast turnaround of specific projects reinforce the company’s excellent reputation with these clients.
