Amcomri Group has today confirmed the acquisition of WJ Project Services Limited (WJPS), a specialist UK-based SME that provides high voltage (HV) electric infrastructure installation, test and commissioning services for grip, industrial and rail sector markets.
WJPS offers a comprehensive turnkey project management solution encompassing procurement, installation, setup, testing and maintenance of integrated, HV systems. This service is tailored for key national infrastructure operators and Tier 1 contract service providers, with a core focus on both AC and DC power systems associated with new build rail electrification projects. The Company also provides upgrading services for existing electrical infrastructure and installations.
Founded in 2007 by HV Electrical Engineers Leon White and Ashley Jordan, the team have utilised their extensive technical experience and contacts in the industry to establish and progressively develop WJPS, which has since grown into a highly reputable specialist service provider in the UK rail engineering industry.
After 15 years of successfully building WJPS, Leon and Ashley initiated a sales process in 2022 to identify a credible and experienced industrial partner to acquire the business, culminating in the recent transaction with Amcomri Group. Post transaction, Leon and Ashley will remain fully involved in the Company continuing in their roles as joint Managing Directors and working with the Amcomri Team to support the ongoing growth of the Company.

Following the prior acquisitions of TP Matrix Ltd and eTrac Limited, WJPS is the latest addition to Amcomri’s specialist electronics and electrical engineering division, further expanding the Group’s interest to now cover HV power electrical engineering with a strong focus on the rail and light rail transit sector.
